Padayani, an ancient ritual art from Kerala's Pathanamthitta district, celebrates divine feminine energy through dance and music. Born from the legend of Goddess Kali, whose fierce dance after slaying demon Darika threatened universal destruction, this sacred performance is believed to transform divine fury into protective blessings.
The Padayani necklace and Earrings translates this powerful ritual into wearable art. Inspired by the traditional palm frond masks used in the ceremony, each handcrafted piece captures the mystical essence of this sacred art form while carrying its protective energies and blessings.
All pieces are crafted and hand painted by artists in our studio in Mumbai, under small batch production.
